Kapelki and Maya the Bee.

On the 17th of November, Kapelki managed to decipher Bee Maya’s dream with remarkable accuracy. Maya, relaxing in her cosy flower-filled room, was reminiscing about the variety of fragrant summer plants. Inspired, our curious children created a meadow of bright, deliciously scented flowers, described them, shared their thoughts with one another, and presented their creations to Maya. Upon waking, Maya was so touched that she thanked them all by treating everyone to her forest wildflower honey.

Then, remembering the five senses, the children described their own experiences of taste, smell, and colour. Naturally, this sparked their desire to create something themselves. Chef Mitya stepped in to help, teaching them about the diversity of foods and explaining the difference between animal- and plant-based products. Armed with this knowledge, the children used their "Crafty Hands" session to bake magical biscuits, make enchanting pizzas, and even create a portrait of Chef Mitya to remember him by. Everyone was delighted!

Meanwhile, Zvezdochki wrote a challenging dictation before playing "Slogoslov," solving riddles about words with a specific number of syllables, reinforcing their lesson topic. How would you explain the word "orange"?

The speech development lesson today was extraordinarily fascinating, blending exploration with discovery.

The children began by helping little bunnies distinguish between root vegetables and those that grow above ground. After diving into the theory and learning interesting facts about the composition of fruits, they set out to prove experimentally that the juice of every fruit they had was unique in both colour and taste. And here’s a fun secret for the girls: beetroot can be used to blush your cheeks! Yes, we tried it. But don’t forget to keep a cucumber nearby. Why, you ask? Well, that’s a little question for you to figure out!
