After a short holiday, during their speech development lesson, Zvezdochki, eager for more adventures, set off on a "Bus 26" journey in the company of animals. Of course, this voyage was inspired by the work of S. Marshak. The children discussed the animals' behaviour and interactions with genuine interest. Oh, how they disapproved remarks of the bear and the lynx! In unison, they declared that one must be polite and well-mannered in a public space. We believe you would agree with us.
And what marvellous reading journals the children created in the lesson! They even tried their hand as illustrators. Some also shared their reading journals for the fairy tales they read over the holidays. Oh, how proud they made us!
In our logic and financial literacy lesson, we explored the concepts of an object's properties and identifying characteristics, examining them in detail. Through riddles, the children identified items by their defining traits. After some practice, they even managed to transform a tiger into a cat simply by changing one essential word. How fascinating!
Though Kapelki were accompanied by a slow-moving little turtle during their lesson, the children were so quick and attentive that, after enthusiastically completing all the tasks, they still had time to play, sing, and dance. And as for the tongue twisters — they pronounced them so well it was a joy to listen.
In our maths and nature studies lesson, we first visited a bird yard and strolled around the farm, where we counted, compared, assessed, and described the farm animals, observing who entered their home in what order. Afterwards, we paid a visit to the forest, where we dropped in on a friendly and hospitable bear who treated everyone to pies, divided into five parts. Why? Because the number we were studying today was 5. And the children completed all their tasks perfectly, scoring a top mark of 5! Well done!
